My honest thought is that he has autistic tendancies, he's probably a savant. I thought he was a jerk at first too, but having worked with students like him before I think I have a little more patience.

I'd probably be like him too if my prospects only included a future of forced celibacy or turning fag. The tuna sub visual was very handy, by the way, that's why I turn first to CNN for all of my informational needs.

I blame his mother! THE one major problem with homeschooling is the inability to interact with others in social settings.Although it is highly possible for publicly schooled children to have severe social issues(which begins at home) IT is a higher occurance in children who dont encounter other children...maybe mommy should have taught him a little more courtesy.....

Go Evan!! The presenter needs to work on her diction. First she gets the name wrong, then she doesn't say the fish's right. She probably never heard it before either. I can only spell it if you pronounce it correctly. Go, Evan!!

Although I do think this kid's a jerk, it really pisses me off when backward thinking people like you spout off all these stupid myths about homeschool. You think this kid isn't well socially adjusted? What about the two Columbine boys, and countless other non-well adjusted people. So unless you know as many homeschoolers as I do or have done real research into the matter then keep your backward thinking nonsense to yourself.
