Lawrence manages to get a few coins to go towards his debt, but nowhere near enough. He gives Holo the coins as an apology for his earlier behavior, though she quickly rejects them and the two have an argument about Lawrence's personality about being too nice to others. Afterwards, Holo gets an idea to help Lawrence with this debt. The next day, they go and propose to Lawrence's debt collector about smuggling gold since his company has already failed and he too is pressed for money. Holo ends up driving him into a corner and he agrees with their plan. Lawrence and Holo later meet with Nola and tell her about the plan too, and how they plan to smuggle the gold in her sheep's stomaches. After some smooth talking by Lawrence, Nola agrees to their plan. |
