Energy Rally for America - You Should Know |

Indeed, it's the only thing that ever has." is the rallying cry of a group of 17 citizens in West Chester Township, a community located twenty miles north of Cincinnati, Ohio. Determined to make congressional representatives and senators "stop posturing" and take action by passing The American Energy Act (House Resolution #6566) to reduce America's dependence on foreign oil, the group formed a PAC called Making Congress Accountable, Inc. They produced a 4.5 minute video, "You Should Know," and a website, www.energyrallyforamerica.com, which launched today. The website directs visitors to forward a provided letter to their "fellow Americans" promoting participation in the Energy Rally for America on Monday, September 8, the day Congress convenes their fall session. In addition to forwarding the letter, those interested in attending the rally can print out "The Energy Rally for America Pledge" from the website and deliver it in person to their district congressional office at 12:00 noon (in each time zone) on September 8. That day rally organizers will travel to Washington, D.C. to deliver the pledge to the congressional offices. The public is invited to join them at the Capitol.
