well, i bet next time he installs aftermarket electronics he uses fuses under the hood (under the dash can cause this prob if the insulation comes off of the wiring and grounds out on the firewall. with the fuse as close to the battery as possible the fuse will blow, and there is no more problem (Short of a new wiring job, new fuse... and a rubber grommet for the hole.) and yeah, why did he bring out the fire extinguisher like 10 minutes into it, and sprayed the TOP of the fire? well all know you should spray the base in a sweeping motion, and trying to disconnect the battery (even by cutting the cables) could have made this easier too... Live and lean boy, atleast you still have the rims and maybe tires.
