I agree with bowdwn2daqween. It's cute and entertaining, but I bet that same energy put into having this baby perform the song is not put into teaching her things that average white kids her age can do, like count, sing the alphabet, and know her colors. Not criticizing her, the video is cute, and lord knows my son sings all the radio songs at 2, too. But I don't want him to fit that stereotype that this is all we can do. So he is ahead of the game academically cause I put that effort into it.

bigtruckn, I don't know, maybe she is a little genius. Unfortunately though, even if she is, what is being highlighted is what people already think, that all black folks are good for is dancing, sports and entertainment. Don't get me wrong, I think this girl is adorable. But it also can't be denied that too many of our people put more value in to teaching our kids things like this instead of things that will show us to be intelligent, classy people.
