| I question authority at every opportunity, not that I disagree with authority all together, but so as to keep check on the establishment. I feel most of us are being used for the benefit of private interests. Thus, I align myself more along socialist principles while realizing the importance of cautiously managed capitalism. I believe in a society where we do not have to rent ourselves out to stay alive, to feed, clothe, and house ourselves and our families. Having to work forty hours a week leaves little time for family, faith, or politics. All of which are more important than working so that others don’t have to rent themselves out. Think about the current state of family, faith, and politics. It is a sad reality. I believe all of us have a right to a universal healthcare system, reliable social security, privacy, and to disobey unjust laws. |
